“At the start of my career, I worked at the Kiddi Kollege in Wellington Park as the school age lead teacher. I feel so privileged to work here again- full circle! The last position I held was at a Kansas City charter school where I was the third grade team lead and a mentor to new teachers. I taught here for five years in fifth grade and third grade.
“Having my background mainly in elementary education has shown me how important early childhood education is. The students who are exposed to curriculum and routine at an early age have a much better understanding when they enter Kindergarten. I know all those future teachers are thanking you for the early exposure and experiences. I graduated from the University of Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I don’t know if I’ll have many Mizzou fans across the state line, but MIZ! Then, I went on to receive my Master’s degree in School Leadership. It has been a joy getting to know your families already. My hope is that I can offer you open communication and a safe space for your children every day. Here’s to the journey ahead together!”
Ms. Nikki, Assistant Director
“I have been with the Kiddi Kollege family since 1991. I started through an on the job training program through high school. I also went to Vocational school and earned a certificate in Early Childhood Education.
“My favorite part about working with children is watching their excitement when they learn new things. I love how their eyes light up and that smile spreads across their face when they recognize their own accomplishments. It’s humbling knowing I had a small part in putting that light in their eyes and that smile on their face. I also love just talking and playing with them. Some of the best stories I have ever heard came from the imagination of a child.”

What Parents Say
“My child has been going here for 6 years. We started out with toddler care, preschool, and now after school care. The director, Mrs Era, as well as Mrs. Nikki, make Kiddi Kollege feel like family. My family and are so so satisfied with everything that our toddler will be going here for preschool as well. I highly recommend this facility and am sad to think one day my kids will be too big to attend!
“When my son was little he was slow to talk. Kiddi Kollege helped me utilize resources offered by our county to have him checked out. That plus the two years or wonderful preschool education they offer has made him a top student.” – Healy Family
“My son has attended this daycare since he was about 3 months old. He is now almost 2 years old. The director, Ms. Era, cares about all of the children and she is very attentive and helpful whenever I ask her about anything. She always knows what is going on and I am impressed with her and all of her staff who is very kind and caring to the children. My son loves his teachers and has learned so much here! I am very grateful for this place since I was worried about finding a daycare I could trust.” – Brown Family
“Great daycare! Both of my kids have attended here and loved it. Teachers care about the kids and Ms. Era who runs it employs a great staff with low turnover. She is a very involved owner. My 3 year old can write her name already and when my son entered kindergarten he could already read at a first grade level.” – Segura Family
“Both of my boys have attended Kiddi Kollege since they were 1 year old and they LOVE it. Ms. Era and her staff are amazing! They truly care about the kids and provide a nurturing environment for them to learn and grow.” – Hill Family
“There is only a small hand full of people I would trust with my kids and Ms. Era is at the top of the list. They took wonderful care of my boys and the rest of the staff always made certain my kids felt loved and welcome…..my only regret is that I can’t give more stars.” – Wilson Family
