Ms. Sierra, Director
Hi! I’m Ms. Sierra! I graduated from the University of Central Missouri with my Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Development. I have worked in childcare for the past 7 years with experience in the classrooms and in management. I am from and still live in Lee’s summit, Missouri with my 5 year old daughter named Brooklynn.
We love to go shopping together and spend time with our family and friends. My favorite part about working in childcare is getting to connect with all the families and being able to see the kids expand their knowledge and grow throughout the years! I’m so excited for my new adventure at Kiddi Kollege and couldn’t thank everyone enough for letting me be apart of this company.
Ms. Simone, Assistant Director
I joined the Kiddi Kollege family back in July of 2019 opening the infant room at our Prairie Farms location upon its first opening. After 2 ½ years helping build up the infant and toddler programs there I jumped at the privilege to move over here to Leawood and open the infant room in our brand new Leawood Annex as director. I am excited to now be the assistant director in the Main Building here at Leawood. I cannot wait to see what my director and I can bring to the program here at Leawood working hand in hand to continue to aide this school in living up to the impressive reputation the Kiddi Kollege name has created for itself.
I proudly received my Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from Stephen’s College in Columbia, MO as a 3rd generation enrollee and 2nd generation Alumni. I spent many years working with local families as a Nanny in my hometown of Kansas City, MO before I received my Certification in Nursing Assistance as well as Medication Administration. I worked as a CNA and CMA for Shawnee Mission Medical Center as well as at a long-term care facility for the elderly in Olathe while beginning school again working towards my Associates in Early Childhood. I am a Certified Instructor for In Touch Infant Massage, working with families during the sometimes-difficult transition during the 3rd and 4th trimester of their infant’s lives. I recently began working with the Kansas Association for Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health and I am very excited to start classes to begin providing respite care for foster families as a certified Foster Care babysitter. I am currently enrolled at Johnson County Community College in the Early Childhood Education department and will be graduation with my Associates in the Spring of 2022.
I have a strong passion for caring for people and I feel like this is a strong attribute that I can bring to this position and school. I have always enjoyed working with kids as well as in the theatre and spent many summers volunteering for the same local children’s theatre (Theatre at Vis) that I performed with from 5th grade through high school. I have two very spunky bright and beautiful teenage stepdaughters who keep me on my toes at home. When I am not working, I am spending as much time as I can with family or running!
